NV2050 Features

The NetVanta 2050 Firewall-only has the following features:
- Stateful inspection firewall for work-at-home telecommuters
- Feature-rich ADTRAN Operating System (AOS)
- Recognizable Command Line Interface (CLI) and user-friendly, web-based Graphical User Interface (GUI) for remote management
- Stateful inspection firewall protects against Denial of Service (DoS) attempts
- XAUTH including RADIUS and RSA SecurID
- 10/100BaseT Ethernet interfaces
- Integral IP access router supports BGP, OSPF, and RIP
- Network Address Translation (NAT/NAPT) and NAT Traversal version 2
- NAT-compatible SIP ALG
- Dead peer detection
- DHCP server, client, and relay
- Built-in alert and logging mechanisms
- One public and one private 10/100BaseT Ethernet port
- Up to five private encryption tunnels
- Up to 15 concurrent users supported on the LAN
- Self-standing desktop unit with plastic enclosure
- 1.63-inch H x 5.5-inch W x 7.5-inch D
The NetVanta 2050 VPN/Firewall has the following features:
- IPSec-compliant VPN/firewall for work-at-home telecommuters
- IPSec VPN tunneling with DES/3DES/AES encryption
- Internet Key Exchange (IKE) for user authentication supporting public/private keys or digital certificates
- Compatible with ADTRAN’s other VPN-equipped NetVanta products
- XAUTH including RADIUS and RSA SecurID
- Dead peer detection
- Up to five private encryption tunnels
