The NetVanta 5305 has the following features:

  • Six wide-slot, dual-Ethernet modular IP router
  • Feature-rich ADTRAN Operating System (AOS)
  • Recognizable Command Line Interface (CLI) and user-friendly, web-based Graphical User Interface (GUI)
  • Modular IP access routers for Frame Relay, Multilink Frame Relay, PPP, Multilink PPP, or PPPoE networks
  • Standards-based BGP, OSPF, RIP, static routing, and bridging protocols
  • Integral stateful inspection firewall protects against Denial of Service (DoS) attempts
  • Interchangeable Network Interface Modules (NIMs) with integral DSU/CSU
  • Unchannelized T3, Octal T1/E1, and HSSI wide modules
  • Auto-sensing 10/100BaseT interface(s)
  • Dial backup to any PPP-compliant device
  • IPSec VPN upgrade supporting DES/3DES/AES encryption
