NV5305 Features

The NetVanta 5305 has the following features:
- Six wide-slot, dual-Ethernet modular IP router
- Feature-rich ADTRAN Operating System (AOS)
- Recognizable Command Line Interface (CLI) and user-friendly, web-based Graphical User Interface (GUI)
- Modular IP access routers for Frame Relay, Multilink Frame Relay, PPP, Multilink PPP, or PPPoE networks
- Standards-based BGP, OSPF, RIP, static routing, and bridging protocols
- Integral stateful inspection firewall protects against Denial of Service (DoS) attempts
- Interchangeable Network Interface Modules (NIMs) with integral DSU/CSU
- Unchannelized T3, Octal T1/E1, and HSSI wide modules
- Auto-sensing 10/100BaseT interface(s)
- Dial backup to any PPP-compliant device
- IPSec VPN upgrade supporting DES/3DES/AES encryption
- Compatible with ADTRAN’s other VPN-equipped NetVanta products
- Quality of Service (QoS) with class-based weighted fair queuing (CBWFQ), low latency queuing (LLQ), weighted fair queuing (WFQ), and DiffServ marking
- Built-in alert and logging mechanisms
