Encrypted Integrated Data

A feature that provides data encryption services to ASTRO® 25 Integrated Voice and Data (IVD) IP Bearer services between the Customer Enterprise Network (CEN) and subscriber radios. The encryption service provides data encryption, decryption, and authentication between each EID enabled subscriber radio and a PDEG Encryption Unit (a device in the CEN).
