Autonomous Access

A type of access that occurs when a Packet Data Channel (PDCH) is already set up at a specific site controller and the system automatically grants the subscriber unit access to the PDCH. Also, used for Automated Attendant, which allows land-to-mobile calls to be handled without the use of a human attendant position. It is a type of voice announcement used with the Enhanced Telephone Interconnect (ETI) feature.
