Global Positioning System

Method of location based on reception of multiple satellite signals by a device on the ground or in an airplane. Global Positioning System (GPS) is a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), launched by the U.S. Department of Defense and operated by U.S.A. Air Force Space Command (AFSPC).
