Visitor Location Register

A database containing information on all radios currently in the zone that are based in another zone. The VLR manages a local copy of zone-specific information for individuals and VLR talkgroups. This includes subscriber database information and site location information for both the individual and the talkgroup. Each zone has a VLR.
