Voting

A method of improving talk-back range from a portable or mobile subscriber unit (MSU). The signal sent from the devices is picked up by more than one receiver, which are connected to a device called a comparator. The comparator performs an evaluation of all received signals and selects the signal with the best quality for distribution to the rest of the system.
