Enhanced Data

Motorola Solutions inbound-only packet data service optimized for applications that periodically send short messages from a subscriber or attached device to a host in the Customer Enterprise Network (CEN). Enhanced Data introduces a new type of data channel to support short, periodic inbound data messages, such as GPS location. Enhanced data allows a dispatcher to track the location of a subscriber unit, and allows text messaging between the subscriber unit and the dispatcher.
