Sub-Band Restricted

Subscriber radios that can only operate in a portion of a frequency band or a specific frequency band are considered "restricted" to that portion of the frequency band. While actually not "sub-band" restricted, subscriber radios that only operate in the 800 MHz band in systems that provide both 700 MHz and 800 MHz channel resources may be considered "restricted" to that band and identified as SBR radios. There are static and dynamic SBR radios.
