Quad Integrated Communications Controller

The main processor for the Voice Processor Module (VPM), which serves as the main switching engine for the Network Interface Card (NIC). The PowerQUICC switches the 100BaseT Ethernet bus IP packets to/from the serial buses to the MACE devices. The QUICC is also responsible for receiving and sending control packets to/from a radio network.
