Archiving Interface Server

Used to serve audio and related information to third-party call logging hardware for audio archiving at a MCC 7500 Dispatch Console site. The AIS comprises of an application platform with the appropriate additional elements: hardware (voice cards) and AIS application software. The AIS acts as an intermediary between the third-party audio logging solution and the trunking system, hiding the proprietary interfaces from the third-party audio logging solution.
