MLC 8000 Configuration Tool Main Menu
The of the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool runs across the top of the main screen. The Main menu of the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool provides the following options:
- File
- Device
- Channel Cluster
- Services
- Help
File Menu Option
Selecting File provides the following list of sub-options:
- Open Reports: Opens a window where the report you want to view can be selected from the Reports folder.
- Open Device Configuration from File: Opens a window where the configuration you want to open can be selected from the Templates folder.
- Exit: Closes the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool.
Device Menu Option
Selecting Device provides the following list of sub-options:
- MLC 8000 Device: Provides additional sub-options related to configuring, adding, removing, and resetting the MLC 8000 unit, and more services options from the device related to import audio monitoring, the device log, BR activity statistics, removal from voter, and updating the analog comparator BR list.
- Digital Comparator: Provides additional sub-options related to configuring, adding, and removing digital comparators.
Channel Cluster Menu Option
Selecting Channel Cluster provides the following list of sub-options:
- Open: Opens a channel cluster that has been previously created.
- Create: Creates a channel cluster.
- Delete: Deletes a particular channel cluster.
- Open MLC 8000 Device List: Opens a list of available MLC 8000 devices.
- Save: Saves the channel cluster data.
- Close: Closes the channel cluster.
- Modify Site: Allows modification of site data.
- Subsite List: Provides a list of defined subsites.
Services Menu Option
Selecting Services provides the following list of sub-options:
- Link Delay Measurement: Provides a report showing the link delay measurements.
- Manage Software Update: Downloads and Activates Device Software Version onto Devices.
- Set Channel Cluster Parameters: Provides the option to specify parameters which apply to the entire channel cluster.
- Set CT Settings: Provides the option to configure parameters which apply to the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool itself.
- Edit banner: Opens a window that enables editing the warning banner that appears when opening the Configuration Tool. The edit banner option is only optional for an admin user with full control permission.
- Backup: Backs up the MLC 8000 system configuration.
- Restore: Restores the MLC 8000 system configuration.
- System Events Log: Opens a window which provides a log for the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool.
- Statistics Collection: Collects statistics from the voter.
Help Menu Option
Selecting Help from the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool main screen provides the following list of sub-options:
- Help Topics: Provides an index of help topics.
- About MLC 8000 CT: Provides information about the device, creation time, and execution time.
