BR/Console Properties Tab for MLC 8000 Analog Comparator Configuration in an IP Simulcast System
This section provides a table showing the fields on the BR/Console Properties Tab which are used for configuring MLC 8000 Analog Comparators in IP simulcast systems. For each field, the field name, default value, range of values, and description are shown along with whether the field is editable.
In the following table, all fields are editable unless a note appears in the description column indicating the field is not editable.
Field | Default Value | Range of Values | Description |
---|---|---|---|
Port ID | N/A | 00001 to 65535 | Specifies a unique identifier assigned to each port. |
Console Name | Blank | 0 to 19 alphanumeric characters | Specifies the base radio name which is written on the Configuration Tool main screen and in the control and display application window.
NoteYou cannot edit this field.
|
TRC Detection | Disabled | Enabled or Disabled | Specifies whether the TRC Detection parameter can be editable. When TRC Detection is enabled (checked), the Advanced button will be able to be selected and TRC handling will be operational (TRC detection is turned on and the notch filter is turned on). When TRC Detection is disabled (unchecked), the Advanced button will be grayed out and there will not be any TRC handling (TRC detection is turned off and the notch filter is turned off). |
Port # On/Off | Off | On or Off | Specifies the port on which to perform advanced configuration. |
Console Advanced Configuration Fields
NoteThese fields are found in the
Console Advanced Configuration window for a particular port which appears when
Advanced is selected from the
Console Properties tab of the
View Device Configuration window.
|
|||
Enable Dual Function Tone | Enabled | Enabled or Disabled | Specifies whether the TRC signaling from the console to the radio contains one function tone (Disabled) or two function tones (Enabled).
NoteIf you modify this field, the MLC 8000 Analog Comparator is restarted to implement the new parameter value.
|
Tx Notch Filter | Enabled | Enabled or Disabled | Specifies whether a Tx Notch Filter is used. |
LLGT Undetect Time (msec) | 150 msec | 60 to 2000 msec in 5 msec steps | Sets the undetect time. The LLGT undetect time is the time from the moment the MLC 8000 Analog Comparator no longer detects LLGT to the moment the MLC 8000 Analog Comparator declares a call session end (and sends a dekey message to the MLC 8000 Subsite Link Converter for delivery to the base radio). This delay is provided to prevent dropouts of the LLGT from interference with the radio transmission. The delay timer starts counting after the detection of the first FT or after 120 msec FT windows has expired. If the timer has expired, an MLC 8000 Analog Comparator call session end is declared.
NoteIf you modify this field, the MLC 8000 Analog Comparator is restarted to implement the new parameter value.
|
Frequency (Hz) | 2175 Hz | 2100, 2175, or 2325 Hz | Specifies the frequency used.
NoteIf you modify this field, the MLC 8000 Analog Comparator is restarted to implement the new parameter value.
