General Properties Tab for MLC 8000 Analog Comparator Configuration in an IP Simulcast System
This section contains a table showing the fields on the General Properties Tab used for configuring MLC 8000 Analog Comparators in IP simulcast systems. For each field, the field name, default value, range of values, and description are shown along with whether the field is editable.
In the following table, all fields are editable unless a note appears in the description column.

| Device Name | Blank | 0 to 19 alphanumeric characters | Provides the name assigned to the MLC 8000 Analog Comparator device by the administrator.
NoteIf you modify this field, the MLC 8000 Analog Comparator is restarted to implement the new parameter value.

| IP Address | 0.0.0.0 | As per System Configuration Plan ICD - IP Plan | Specifies the device IP address of the MLC 8000 Analog Comparator unit.

| Minimum Jitter Buffer | 20 msec | 10, 20, 30, 40, or 50 msec | Specifies minimum jitter buffer length. The jitter buffer length must be set corresponding to the MLC 8000 Analog Comparator-to-MLC 8000 Subsite Link Converter IP link jitter. The link jitter causes a variance in the link delay. The jitter buffer compensates this variance.
NoteIf you modify this field, the MLC 8000 Analog Comparator is restarted to implement the new parameter value.
