Configuration Manager Settings
Another prerequisite is to set up the Conventional Channels (in Provisioning Manager User Guide for ASTRO ® 25 core systems, and in Configuration Manager for K cores).The following are parameters that are especially important for Analog IP Simulcast:
- Site Type: Combination GCM 8000 or GRV 8000
- Co-located Site Type: Multisite Subsystem
- CCGW Configuration: Unique ID number and unique Alias name
CautionAnalog Link Monitor Tone (ALMT) is only supported on Conventional Mixed Mode channels with the V.24 interface. It is not supported on Conventional Mixed Mode channels with the Ethernet interface and is not supported on analog conventional channels. Do not configure ALMT for the Site Gateway (Conventional Channel Interface) when using mixed mode channels with an interface type of Ethernet.
