Implementing an ASTRO 25 Conventional Mixed-Mode Simulcast Voting Subsystem

When and where to use:

Follow these sequences when implementing MLC 8000s in an ASTRO ® 25 Conventional Mixed-Mode Simulcast Voting subsystem.

Procedure:

  1. Perform the tasks to install equipment at the prime site. See Installing Equipment for Each Channel in the Prime Site.
  2. Perform the tasks to install equipment at subsites. See Installing Equipment for Each Channel in Subsites.
  3. Perform the tasks to install equipment at subsites. See “Configuring an MLC 8000 Analog Comparator for an IP Simulcast System” in the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool User Guide.
  4. Verify the installation and configuration performed in this implementation. See Verifying the Installation and Configuration.
