CDM750, CDM1250, & CDM1550 Low Band Model ONLY - False Synthesizer Unlock AlarmSymptoms:
Upon starting the vehicle, the radio will sound a continuous tone with Synth Unlock appearing on the display model, has
been reported on some CDM Low Band Mobiles. Changing a channel or cycling power on the radio will correct the problem.Potential Problem Radio

Cause:
Engine noise enters the radio power leads and causes a false reading in the Synthesizer Unlock detection circuit.
Corrective Action:
Flash radios with R04.02.08 firmware flash tool.
The Flash tool with instructions can be downloaded two ways:from the Dealer Access Secure Motorola Online Web Site.
$20.00 labor is authorized by warranty. Contact your local Motorola Authorized Service Representative to arrange for this modification. No other charges are authorized.
Only warranty work performed by an Authorized Motorola Service Center will be eligible for reimbursement.
Agency Approved product should follow the guidelines for repairs and service.
