Subject: HT750 and HT1250 Conventional and HT1250�LS Trunking Radios: Power Control IC

Symptoms:

When removing the portable with battery from the charger and the charger indicates a full charge, the radio battery

status indicator indicates less than full charge.

Potential Problem Radios:

HT750, HT1250 and HT1250�LS Radios manufactured between September of 1999 and November of 1999 can

experience this issue.

AAH25RDC9AA2AN, AAH25RDC9AA3AN, AAH25RDG9AA4AN, AAH25SDC9AA2AN,

AAH25SDC9AA3AN, AAH25SDG9AA4AN, AAH25KDF9AA5AN, AAH25KDH9AA6AN,

AAH25RDF9AA5AN, AAH25RDH9AA6AN, AAH25SDF9AA5AN, AAH25SDH9AA6AN,

Cause:

A defective power control IC is causing the radio to draw too much current.

Corrective Action:

A defective lot of Power Control ICs has been isolated. Radios must be sent to one of the two Centers referenced

below for repair.
