Motorola�s
goal is to continually improve the quality of its products. This is now even
more evident in the new family of mobiles. Once again, in order for us to
achieve the aggressive goals set for the new radios, it is imperative that we
immediately identify performance issues associated with the initial shipments
of this product family.��
LEVEL I service
Thirty-five
($45.00) dollars will be provided for all Level I service which includes
handling cost of each radio by a Motorola Authorized Warranty Service Center.
This service may consists of the following:

Resolving/fixing any problem that does not require opening the radio. NTF's,
reprogramming, software alignments and the replacement of any external label,
knobs, antennas, etc. In the case of NTF's the warranty claim form must
designate "No Trouble Found".
LEVEL II & III service
In
order to quickly and accurately obtain, then define, the root cause of
failures, warranty work on all CDM750/1250/1550/1550LS radios requiring any
Level II and/or III (board/component) repairs need to be returned to the
Motorola Radio Support Centers at the following addresses:

1: Service Repair Notes may be issued to define specific field repairable
items.
Note
2: Level I troubleshooting techniques will be allowed during the initial six
months. Level II/III service will be performed by the Motorola Depots only to
ensure a stable software and hardware platforms. After the initial six-month
period Motorola will evaluate the option of offering either field service
repair or depot only. Future field bulletins will address this issue.
