System Components

The WAVE 3000 Server can only be used with a supported MOTOTRBO radio system.

Repeater (Hardware)

Repeaters connect with the WAVE 3000 Server and brokers audio transfer between the radio system and the broadband WAVE clients. The WAVE 3000 Server connects to the repeater through the Radio Adapter Ethernet port on the back of the DL 380. The connection is configured in the WAVE 3000 Server in Setup > Network Adapter > Radio Adapter.

The WAVE 3000 can integrate with any repeater supported by Capacity Plus or Linked Capacity Plus.

WAVE 3000 Server (Hardware)

The WAVE 3000 Server manages broadband clients and handles connectivity between the radio system and the all other endpoints.

The WAVE 3000 R1.2 Server is installed on a HP DL380 G5 blade server running a Single Socket - 8 Core 2.0 Ghz E5-2630 V2 processor. It comes with 32G Memory and (2) Mirrored 500GB SATA Disks.

The WAVE 3000 Server connects to the internet and broadband clients through the Broadband Adapter Ethernet port on the back of the DL 380. The connection is configured in the WAVE 3000 Server in Setup > Network Adapter > Broadband Adapter.

Browser for Admin Access (Software)

Any standard browser can be used. Tested supported browsers include Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox.
