Managing Sites

Linked Capacity Plus makes it possible to communicate across a wide area by linking up to five sites via an IP network. WAVE 3000 supports this capability on a Site-by-Site basis. The sites you add are then made available for selection in Talk Groups, allowing you to make Talk Groups wide or site-specific.

Adding a Linked Capacity Plus Site

1.	Click the Setup tab.

2.	Click the Sites link. The Sites page opens.

3.	Click the Add New Site button. The Add New Site page opens.

A.	In Site ID, enter a valid ID for your site. Site values must be between 1 and 15.

B.	In Site Alias, enter the Alias used to identify this site in other screens and lists.

4.	Click the Save button.

Editing or deleting a Linked Capacity Plus Site

1.	Click the Setup tab.

2.	Click the Sites link. The Sites page opens.

3.	Under Site Alias, click the named link of the Site to delete.

4.	Edit the values and click the Save button, or click the Delete link.

Important:

Talk Groups using a deleted site will be converted to Wide Talk Groups until you edit them and apply a new Site.

5.	Click Commit Changes to apply the change.
