Opening a Conventional Channel Cluster

Prerequisites:

• The MLC 8000 Configuration tool is operational. See procedure Opening the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool.
• The defined channel cluster is saved in a file.

When and where to use:

Procedure:

1. From the main menu of the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool, select Channel Cluster → Open.
   An Open window appears.
2. Select the directory from which to open the file and the file name and then click Open.
   NoteYou may be asked to log in. If so, log in with the username and password.
   The channel cluster file opens and the channel cluster tree appears on the Configuration Tool main screen. If a message window appears, indicating that devices were found, click OK.
