Modifying a Base Radio in the List for an MLC 8000 Analog Comparator

Prerequisites:

The MLC 8000 Configuration Tool is operational. See procedure Opening the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool.

When and where to use:

Use this procedure to modify the base radio configuration, for example to change the radio type.

Procedure:

  1. From the channel cluster tree display on the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool main screen, select the MLC 8000 Analog Comparator (VGU) to which the base radio you want to update is assigned by clicking it. Click Update Analog Comparator BR List.
    The Configure Analog Comparator BR List window appears.

  2. Select the base radio you want to update and then click Modify BR.
    The Add/Modify BR window appears.

  3. Click Tx&Rx, Tx Only, or Rx Only to specify the radio type.
  4. Click OK.
    The system updates the base radio data and the Add/Modify BR window closes.
  5. Click Apply.
  6. Click Close.
    The Configure VGU BR List window closes. The channel cluster updates with the modified base radio.
