Viewing Base Radio Statistics

Prerequisites:

The MLC 8000 Configuration Tool is operational. See procedure Opening the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool.

When and where to use:

Use this procedure to display statistics on a particular base radio.

Procedure:

  1. From the channel cluster tree display on the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool Main screen, right-click on the base radio for which you want to see statistics and then select BR Activity Statistics.
    The Radio Activity Statistics screen appears displaying:
    • Port number (the physical port where the radio is connected)
    • BR Name (the name of the port to which the base radio is connected)
    • Sample duration (the time that has passed since the last reboot)
    • Total/Average/Maximum Tx (provides an indication on how often a radio was transmitting)
    • Total/Average/Maximum Rx (provides an indication on how often a radio was receiving)
    • Last Rx Time (provides an indication of the last time the radio was receiving)
    • Last Rx Duration (provides an indication of the last duration for radio receiving)
  2. If you want to save the base radio statistics to a file, click Save to File. Specify a file name. Click Save.
    The system saves the base radio statistics to the file name specified.
  3. Click Close to return to the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool main screen.
