Associating WAVE Users and Talk Groups

WAVE users must be added to a Talk Group in order to access that Talk Group. Additionally, all users must have at least one (1) valid Talk Group association when you click Commit Changes or the validation will fail.

To add a WAVE user to a Talk Group

1.	Sign in to the WAVE 3000 Server, and then click the Users tab. The Users page opens.

2.	Under the Talk Groups column, click the Talk Groups link of the WAVE user to add. The Users: Talk Groups for Subscriber page opens.

3.	In the left column, select the Talk Groups to add to this WAVE user, or select All to add all Talk Groups.

4.	Click the Save button. The Users page opens.

5.	Click Commit Changes when you are ready to activate the changes.

Note:

This should be your second validation attempt. Any Broadband users without a Talk Group association will be invalid. Ensure all Broadband users are valid and press Commit Changes again.
