Testing Radio and WAVE Communication
This section describes how to test radio and WAVE Mobile Communicator communication to ensure the system is working correctly.
Important:
Initial WAVE Mobile Communicator Sign-In
When WAVE Mobile Communicator users initially sign-in, they must enter their Username, Password, and the IP address specified in Setup > WAVE Mobile Communicator > Connection Address. After the client successfully connects, check the following attributes of the client:

Radio to WAVE Mobile Communicator Testing
Set a Connect Plus radio dial to a Talk Group that exists in the WAVE 3000 Server and on the XRT 9000/9100 Gateway. Sign in to the WAVE Mobile Communicator client using a WAVE Mobile Communicator account with the same Talk Group in their Talk Groups list. Transmit over the radio. The WAVE Mobile Communicator client should indicate the transmission on the Channels tab, and the audio from the radio should be heard from the phone.
WAVE Mobile Communicator to Radio User Testing
Set a radio dial to a Talk Group that exists in the WAVE 3000 Server and on the XRT 9000/9100. Sign-in to the WAVE 3000 Server using a WAVE Mobile Communicator user with same Talk Group in their Talk Groups list. In the WAVE Mobile Communicator client, tap the Channels tab and select the Talk Group appearing on the radio. Transmit over the WAVE Mobile Communicator client. Audio from the WAVE Mobile Communicator client should come over the radio clearly.
