Changing the Administrator Password

On first sign-in, the administrator password for the WAVE 3000 Server is “admin.” After logging in for the first time, you should change the password for security.

Important:

Do not forget the administrator password you specify. If you lose the password, you must contact Motorola Support.

The system does not prevent multiple administrators from logging on simultaneously using the same administrator password. Be aware that new commits always overwrite older commits. To prevent unwanted access, limit the number of people with the administrator password.

To change the administrator password

1.	Sign in to the WAVE 3000 Server system using the current administrator password.

2.	Click the Maintenance tab.

3.	Click Change Administrator Password.

4.	In the Current Password field, enter the current password.

5.	In the New Password field, enter the new password. Passwords may be between 1 and 255 characters.

6.	In the Confirm Password field, re-enter the new password.

7.	Click the Change Password button.
