Reconnecting an MLC 8000 Analog Comparator on the Channel Cluster Tree

Prerequisites:

• The MLC 8000 Configuration Tool is operational. See procedure Opening the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool.
• The channel cluster to which the MLC 8000 Analog Comparator (VGU) that you want to reconnect belongs is open and the associated channel cluster tree appears on the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool main screen. See procedure Opening a Conventional Channel Cluster.

When and where to use:

Procedure:

1. Right-click the MLC 8000 Analog Comparator (VGU) you want to reconnect in the channel cluster tree on the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool main screen. Click Reconnect Device.
   A status message displays.
2. If the reconnect attempt was successful, you are done. If it failed, follow the steps in the message displayed and then repeat step 1.
