Removing a Base Radio Port from an MLC 8000 Analog Comparator
Prerequisites:
- The MLC 8000 Configuration Tool is operational. See procedure Opening the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool.
- The channel cluster containing the base radio port you want to remove is open and the associated channel cluster tree is displayed on the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool main screen. See procedure Opening a Conventional Channel Cluster.
When and where to use:
Use this procedure when a particular base radio port should be removed from association with an MLC 8000 Analog Comparator but not from the channel cluster tree. This procedure causes the base radio port that was previously assigned to the MLC 8000 Analog Comparator to move into the list of unassigned base radios.Procedure:
- Right-click the base radio port you want to remove from the MLC 8000 Analog Comparator (VGU) and click Remove from Voter.
A message asking for confirmation appears.
- Click Yes.
The base radio is removed from its association with the MLC 8000 Analog Comparator and appears in the unassigned BRs list.
