Removing an MLC 8000 Subsite Link Converter from a Channel Cluster
This procedure is used to delete an MLC 8000 Subsite Link Converter (AGU) from a conventional channel cluster.
Prerequisites:
- The MLC 8000 Configuration Tool is operational. See procedure Opening the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool.
- The channel cluster from which you want to delete the MLC 8000 Subsite Link Converter is open. See procedure Opening a Conventional Channel Cluster.
- Before the subsite link converter can be removed, the MLC 8000 Subsite Link Converter ports must be unassociated with any comparator.
When and where to use:
Use this procedure to remove an MLC 8000 Subsite Link Converter from a conventional channel cluster.Procedure:
- From the main screen of the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool, right-click on the MLC 8000 Subsite Link Converter you want to remove and select Remove Device.
- If you are asked to confirm the deletion, click OK.
The system remotes the MLC 8000 Subsite Link Converter from the open channel cluster.
