Resolving a Configuration Problem Indicated by a Red “V” in the Base Radio Icon
Prerequisites:
You have observed that a base radio is being displayed with a red “V” inside its associated icon in the channel cluster tree displayed on the main screen of the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool. This display has lasted for more than a minute.
When and where to use:
Use this procedure to resolve a problem where the icon for a particular base radio is displayed with a red “V” indicating a configuration problem.
Procedure:
- Disconnect the affected base radio from the associated MLC 8000 Analog Comparator (VGU). See procedure Removing a Base Radio Port from an MLC 8000 Analog Comparator.
- Reconnect the base radio if it should be associated with the MLC 8000 Analog Comparator. See procedure Associating a Base Radio with an MLC 8000 Analog Comparator .
- Verify that the base radio icon for the base radio you associated with a particular MLC 8000 Analog Comparator now displays in the channel cluster tree with a blue “V” inside the associated icon.
