Removing a Base Radio from the List for an MLC 8000 Analog Comparator
Prerequisites:
- The MLC 8000 Configuration Tool is operational. See procedure Opening the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool.
- The channel cluster containing the base radio port you want to remove is open and the associated channel cluster tree is displayed on the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool main screen. See procedure Opening a Conventional Channel Cluster.
When and where to use:
Use this procedure to remove the association of a base radio with a particular MLC 8000 Analog Comparator (VGU).Procedure:
- Click the MLC 8000 Analog Comparator (VGU) in the channel cluster tree and then click the Update Analog Comparator BR List button.
The Configure Analog Comparator BR List window displays.
- Select the base radio you want to remove and click Remove BR.
The system removes the base radio from its association with the MLC 8000 Analog Comparator.
- Click Apply. Click Close.
The Configure VGU BR List window closes. In the channel cluster tree display on the main screen, the base radio port you removed from the MLC 8000 Analog Comparator appears in the list of unassigned base radios.
