Reconnecting a Base Radio Port on the Channel Cluster Tree

Prerequisites:

• The MLC 8000 Configuration Tool is operational. See procedure Opening the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool.
• The channel cluster containing the base radio port you want to reconnect is open and the associated channel cluster is displayed on the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool main screen. See procedure Opening a Conventional Channel Cluster.

When and where to use:

Procedure:

1. Right-click the base radio port which has lost connectivity in the channel cluster tree on the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool main screen. Click Reconnect Device.
   A message displays.
2. If the message indicates the re-connection was successful, you are done. If the message indicates that the re-connection attempt was unsuccessful, follow the steps it tells you to take and then repeat step 1.
