Upgrading the Entire Channel Cluster

Prerequisites:

• A previous version of the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool is operational.
• The PC on which the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool is installed is connected to the new MLC 8000 device for which new software is required.

When and where to use:

Procedure:

1. Download the desired software version to all MLC 8000 devices. See procedure Downloading a Software Update to an MLC 8000 Device.
2. Activate the software update on all MLC 8000 devices. See procedure Activating a Software Update on all MLC 8000 Devices.
