Viewing a Particular Channel Cluster Tree

Prerequisites:

• The MLC 8000 Configuration Tool is operational. See procedure Opening the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool.
• The channel cluster is available in the system.

When and where to use:

Procedure:

1. From the main screen of the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool, select Channel Cluster → Open.
   The Browse for Folder window appears.
2. Select the correct folder and channel cluster file and click OK.
   The system prompts you to enter the User Name and Password.
3. Enter User Name and Password.
4. Click Agree.
   The channel cluster tree file opens and the channel cluster tree is displayed on the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool main screen.
5. If a message appears indicating that channel cluster devices were found, click OK.
   The channel cluster tree file opens and the information about the channel cluster appears on the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool main screen.

   ImportantIf the channel cluster tree devices are not displayed in the main screen, see Chapter MLC 8000 Configuration Tool Troubleshooting.
