Removing a Base Radio Port from the Channel Cluster Tree

Prerequisites:

• The MLC 8000 Configuration Tool is operational. See procedure Opening the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool.
• The channel cluster to which the base radio port you want to remove belongs is open and the associated channel cluster tree is displayed on the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool main screen. See procedure Opening a Conventional Channel Cluster.

When and where to use:

Procedure:

1. If the base radio port you want to remove from the channel cluster tree is currently assigned to an MLC 8000 Analog Comparator, follow the steps in procedure Removing a Base Radio Port from an MLC 8000 Analog Comparator.
   The base radio port is no longer associated with an MLC 8000 Analog Comparator and appears in the unassigned BRs list.
2. Right-click the base radio port you want to remove from the list of unassigned BRs and select Remove Device.
   A message asking for confirmation appears.
3. Click Yes.
   The system removes the device and it no longer appears under the channel cluster tree.
