Viewing a Configuration File

Prerequisites:

• The MLC 8000 Configuration Tool is operational. See procedure Opening the MLC 8000 Configuration Tool
• There is an existing configuration file for you to review.

When and where to use:

Procedure:

1. Open a configuration file for viewing by clicking File → Open Device Configuration from File..
   The Open window appears displaying the available list of configuration files from which to choose.
2. Select a file and then click Open.
   The View Device Configuration window appears. From this window you are able to view various parameters.

   NoteYou are not able to save this configuration to a device because a device was not selected before selecting the configuration file to view. This option is useful only for viewing a configuration or for making updates and then saving the configuration file to a file of a different name. The new file created can later be assigned to various devices.
